Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier (sub). We do not receive your Google password.

Usage Data

We log which writing modes you use, approximate word counts of text processed, and the number of credits consumed. We do not store the actual content you submit for rewriting.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. RyteFlow receives confirmation of successful transactions (plan name, amount, and credits purchased) but never stores your card or banking details.

Service Delivery

Your account information is used to authenticate you, manage your credit balance, and provide access to RyteFlow features.

Billing & Credits

Transaction records are retained to calculate your credit balance and resolve payment disputes.

Product Improvement

Anonymized usage data (mode frequency, word counts) helps us understand how students use RyteFlow so we can improve the product.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

RyteFlow does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Service Providers

We share minimal data with trusted providers to operate the service: Google (authentication), Razorpay (payments), and Neon (database hosting). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data-processing agreements.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

Account Data

Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@ryteflow.com.

Usage Logs

Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months and are then automatically purged.

Transaction Records

Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and accounting regulations.

Encryption

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Our database is hosted on Neon, which encrypts data at rest.

Access Controls

Access to production data is restricted to core team members on a need-to-know basis.

Access & Correction

You can view your account email and credit balance in the app at any time. To correct inaccurate data, contact us at support@ryteflow.com.

Deletion

To delete your account and associated data, email support@ryteflow.com with the subject line 'Delete My Account'. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data Portability

You may request an export of your usage logs by contacting support.

Session Cookies

RyteFlow uses a single session cookie (next-auth.session-token) to keep you logged in. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Notification

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via the app. Continued use of RyteFlow after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
